Disabilities

There are many agencies and organizations that provide a variety of services to individuals with disabilities designed to increase their ability to live independently in the community. Contact LIFE to find out if you are eligible for our services or to help you navigate the systems currently in place. Any individual with a disability, of any age, is eligible for LIFE services. Our eligibility process is simple, call us and we will send you an application for services to complete, or help you complete it over the phone. You will determine what your goals are and how we can assist you in reaching those goals. If we can not provide the services needed, we will refer you to someone who can, and ensure that you have the skills necessary to obtain services from them.

LIFE of Mississippi is a proud partner of the SNAP Program. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) helps low-income individuals buy food they need for good health. SNAP benefits are not cash and are provided on an electronic card that is used like an ATM or bank card to buy food at most grocery stores.

For more information and how you may qualify for this Program,                                              Please contact LIFE of Mississippi I.L. Specialist Shannon Stewart at 601-969-4009
