My United Way – Jackson Metropolitan Area: Combined Federal Campaign

LIFE has benefited from United Way funding in Jackson for more than 10 years. For many of those years, we managed the Tri-County Housing Initiative to provide home modifications and home buyer education to individuals with disabilities living in the tri-county area in an effort to ensure that they can continue to live independently in their own homes and communities. When United Way faced budget shorfalls, LIFE remained a partner through the Combined Federal Campaign. Any individuals or business who donates to United Way can select LIFE from their list of non-profit partners and request that their donation be given directly to LIFE. These funds are then sent to LIFE on an annual basis. We continue to use these funds to assist individuala with disabilities in the Tri-County area.
